Aquant's HR & Recruiting Manager will support the Recruitment Department with the execution of full life cycle, requisition-based recruitment. The ideal candidate should possess a basic recruiting background and a comprehensive understanding and basic knowledge of personnel policy and procedure. In addition to leading the recruitment process in our NYC office, the role entails office management tasks to support our fast-growing team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting efforts

  • Partnering with group managers to determine staffing needs

  • Screening resumes

  • Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates

  • Performing reference and background checks

  • Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers

  • Following up on the interview process status

  • Employees Onboarding. Ensuring new joinees adjust effectively and in the quickest time possible

  • Office management (purchases, maintenance, working with office related vendors, etc.)

  • Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices

  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures

  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.

  • Take an integral part in maintaining the company culture

  • Other projects and duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Most importantly: a positive attitude - we are looking for people who truly care about helping others!

  • 3+ years of experience in tech recruiting

  • Internal recruiting at a startup is a HUGE plus!

  • A motivated person, who is able to work in a fast, highly-demanding, and ever-changing environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related fields

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Detail oriented; able to manage multiple tasks and projects

  • Microsoft Office & applications skills
